Foodstuffs, hygiene products, school stationery, and household chemicals were purchased and handed over to the wards of the boarding house. The facility also received canisters and fuel for the generator so that the specialists of the boarding school could engage in fine arts, labor training, physical therapy, etc. with the wards despite the power outage.
The girls who live in the Darnytsia Children’s Boarding House in Kyiv have certain impairments in physical and mental development and need constant care and attention. Hence, we are very glad to be able to provide such a simple and at the same time much-needed support for their rehabilitation!
We understand how important it is not just to meet basic needs of the children with disabilities, but to develop and socialize them so that residents of boarding homes acquire household skills and can live on their own in the future.
