A hot meal service operates daily at the Prophet Elijah’s Church in Sumy. Here, they prepare complex meals for needy residents — primarily the elderly, lonely people, and those in difficult life circumstances.
Despite the war, shelling, power cuts and cold weather, the canteen continues to operate. Every day, meals are prepared here for those for whom a hot lunch is an important part of their daily survival.
To ensure the canteen’s operation, the Favor Foundation has purchased the necessary food products: canned fish, meat and vegetables, pasta, oil, rice, buckwheat, flour, sugar and other basic products. These will be used to prepare thousands of hot meals for the residents of the district.
