During the Christmas holidays, the “Saint Nicholas’ Sledge” visited the Berdychiv special school of the Zhytomyr Regional Council on the territory of the Hryshkivtsi community. They brought 89 gift sets with goodies, fascinating school stationery, medicine, personal care items and household chemicals for the pupils of the institution.
These children are special, and not only because they are deprived of parental care or are orphans. After all, this institution is intended for children with mild and moderate intellectual disabilities, with the autistic spectrum disorders.
Support and understanding from adults is very important to such children every day! We are hence very glad that we were able to cheer them up and create another reason for sincere children’s smiles!
