Volunteers of the Favor foundation visited de-occupied Kherson. We are very glad that we were able to deliver almost a ton of foods to the Department of Family Affairs of the Kherson Eparchy!
The donated products will be used to support Kherson residents who have remained in the city due to life circumstances. These are pensioners, disabled people, single low-income people and those who selflessly work at critical infrastructure enterprises. Volunteers will prepare hot meals for them, the residents of Kherson, who are constantly under fire and are just trying to survive.
“Thank you very much for your help to our city and its residents. We ask for prayers so that peace and peaceful life on our land would be restored,” said Archpriest Ioann Gordienko, head of the Department for Family Affairs of the Kherson Eparchy with respect and the wish of God’s help.
We would like to remind you that such a dangerous but very important journey became possible with the blessing of His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry of Kyiv and All Ukraine as part of the spiritual and humanitarian mission of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
We are sure that love always wins, even under explosions!
