The Favour Foundation, as part of its support for frontline communities, donated medicines, water, instant food, and household chemicals to the village of Serhiivka in the Pokrovsky district. We also sent powerbanks to ensure constant mobile communication both within the Serhiivka community and with relatives living in other cities. And with the help of a chainsaw the problem with heating will be solved, as now it’s possible to cut wood for heating boilers.
In the village there are problems with electricity, heating and water supplies. There are significant destructions of the civil infrastructure in the district. The local residents, mostly pensioners and lonely old people, despite everything, do not want to leave their homes. The humanitarian situation is difficult, but due to help of kind-hearted people and charitable organisations, the residents of Donetsk region have been holding on.
