The Favor Foundation provided food packages and hygiene products to residents of the Korabel (Ostrov) community in Kherson.
We would like to remind you that in early August, as a result of another attack on Kherson, the only road bridge connecting the neighbourhood with the rest of the city was damaged. Because of the threat of complete isolation, an urgent evacuation was announced. People were forced to leave their homes and move to safer areas or temporary accommodation. The situation remains difficult — everything they need is left at home, and they often lack the funds to provide themselves with basic necessities.
We put in the packages the most essential items:
– oil — 1 litre
– sugar — 1 kg
– tea (bagged) — 100 bags
– salt — 1 kg
– canned meat — 2 cans
– instant noodles — 6 packs
– laundry detergent — 4 litres
– matches, toilet paper, wet wipes, soap.
