300 food parcels for the frontline Druzhkivka in Donetsk region

Parishioners of St. Nicholas Church and local residents have received food parcels from the Fund ‘Tabor’. Each parcel contains basic products that people find more and more difficult to buy on their own: sunflower oil, buckwheat and rice, flour, sugar, canned vegetables and fish, and tomato paste.

Druzhkivka suffers from daily shelling: infrastructure is being destroyed, and civilians are dying and being injured. The city’s population is decreasing, as it is getting harder to live in such conditions. Getting a job is also tough: many businesses have shut down or are operating on a very limited basis. The most vulnerable today are pensioners, people with disabilities, the elderly, and families with children, who often do not have the financial means to evacuate and do not want to leave their homes for fear of being homeless. The minimum pension or social benefits are not enough for basic needs, and in wartime — even less so. That is why we continue to care for those who are suffering the most.
