Since the end of December free meals have been provided in the Poznyaky microdistrict in Kyiv for low-income people, the homeless and internally displaced people. And we support the volunteers who regularly give a piece of their care to those who need it most. We bought and delivered meat stew, frozen fish, canned fish, oil, pasta, buckwheat, rice, barley, wheat groats, tomato paste, salt, sugar, beans, canned corn and peas, butter, vinegar and tea to prepare delicious hot meals for the needy.
More than 100 people come for hot lunches every time. There are neat, intelligent-looking pensioners and homeless people. Some of them come with children, others have parents and relatives at home to take care of. And some of them are all alone in this world, with no one to take care of them…
All of them are different, old and young, sloppy and neat, but there is something that they have in common – they all found themselves in difficult circumstances for one reason or another. And thanks to our help, dear friends, they all have hope. Hope that someone in this world cares about them. Someone will take care of them, feed them, and if they are lucky, give them clothes or shoes…
