In Kyiv, 100 internally displaced families received help from our fund — these are large families, families with children with disabilities, as well as those where only one parent is caring of the child.
We provided each family with sets of household chemicals and hygiene products – basic necessities that often become unavailable to people forced to start their lives from scratch. As the parents themselves say, they only have what they managed to take with them during the evacuation. Most of the family budget budget is spent on renting a home and public service, leaving very little for other needs.
Prices are rising, but needs remain the same. We realize this and try to be there. Children are our main focus in providing assistance. Our assistance is not global but targeted – where it is needed most.
Thanks to everyone who supports us in this work.
