Especially in the heat of summer, we realize even more the importance of water in our lives. Unfortunately, many people are now suffering from water shortages. According to official data, 118,000 residents of Pokrovsk district in Donetsk Oblast have problems with drinking water because the dam and filtration system of the Karlivka reservoir were destroyed during the war. It is currently impossible to restore it due to its proximity to the frontline. Only industrial water is available in the taps, and the water from wells and boreholes is of very poor quality, which poses a serious threat to the life and health of the region’s population.
This is a project to support residents of frontline villages in the Pokrovsk district in providing them with drinking water and storage tanks. Elderly people, families with children and people with disabilities need this help. High-quality drinking water is needed every day. It is not just about thirst, it is about life and salvation in the difficult conditions of war.
Help us to provide drinking water to those who need it most, who find it difficult to do it on their own due to financial difficulties and lack of proper filtration conditions. Together we can turn every drop of our compassion into an ocean of good.
