Greetings on the last bell and summer holidays (+ VIDEO)

On the 1 of June, we greeted 100 children from displaced families in Kyiv with the last bell and the start of summer holidays. Festive sets with Nutella, Barni, Nesquik and other products became not just sweets but also a part of childhood, which we want to bring back so much. They became small but important moments of joy in the reality where children have grown up too soon.

It was especially touching to hear: ‘This is exactly what I wanted!

Behind each such confession is a small but very valuable childhood wish that has come true. It was very pleasant to see happy children’s faces and smile back at them. At such moments, you especially understand how important simple things can be — attention, warm words, familiar tastes. These children are displaced persons themselves. Their families are large, some of them have children with disabilities, and some are raised by only one parent. It is really not easy for them, so even small signs of care are of great importance.

We hope we managed to give the children a little warmth, attention and a feeling of holiday. Sometimes this is enough to make the day a little brighter.
