We continue to support the residents of Pokrovsk district in Donetsk region, where the problem with drinking water is the most critical. The Karlivka reservoir and filtration station were destroyed because of the war, and now the water in the taps is technical water from flooded mines. And the water in the wells is unusable without complicated filtration or long boiling.
That is why we purchased 500-litre tanks for the community of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God in Bilozersk and filled them with drinking water. Now the parishioners and local residents can get the necessary amount of safe, drinkable water at any time.
This is the second year of our assistance in providing drinking water. Every month, in accordance with the communities’ requests, we purchase and deliver the necessary supply of clean water.
