On the weekend, food parcels were distributed to internally displaced people living in Kyiv. 100 IDP families, in particular people with disabilities and pensioners, received food parcels, containing buckwheat, sugar, oil, pasta, rice, oatmeal, flour, tea and chicken paste. In addition, protective masks were added to the parcels considering the autumn and winter period, when the incidence of respiratory diseases increases.
This help is extremely important in the context of growing social and economic instability, as the support of people in difficulty allows them to feel protected and provided with the most basic necessities.
This activity has become possible thanks to our partners ELEOS Prawosławny Metropolitalny Ośrodek Miłosierdzia (Poland), to whom we are sincerely grateful for the donated products, as well as to the Kyiv-based charity project Nasha Lepta, whose volunteers helped us distribute the parcels.
