The Favor Foundation has once again provided humanitarian aid to residents of frontline Pokrovsk, Donetsk region. There have been delivered 50 food parcels, drinking water and hygiene products. The aid was distributed among the communities of St. Michael’s and St. Nicholas’ churches which actively support their parishioners and local residents by providing them with basic needs.
An important part of the aid provided was a 7000 Watt petrol generator for St Michael’s Church. It will ensure a reliable power source for the church premises, as well as for charging parishioners’ phones and cooking in the lack of electricity.
Life in Pokrovsk is extremely difficult now: mobile connection is available only a few hours a day, there is no electricity, water or any other facilities. There is also a constant danger to civilians because of the constant shelling. In such conditions, support for the most needy and elderly people becomes extremely important.
