Thanks God, we received good news from Kherson – the needy Kherson residents are enjoying hot meals!
We will remind you that last week our volunteers visited the de-occupied Kherson as part of the spiritual and humanitarian mission of the UOC and delivered almost a ton of foods to the Department for Family Affairs of the Kherson Eparchy to help the needy residents, who are in the most dangerous place of Kherson – on the island.
The Orthodox community of the Kasperivska Icon of the Mother of God of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, which feeds the Kherson people who are staying in the city despite continual shelling, remained here. Pensioners, disabled people and even families with children come to the temple to get some food. Moreover, volunteers deliver hot meals to the homes of those elderly who cannot come to the refectory on their own.
May God give strength and fortitude to all Kherson residents! May peace and harmony attend all families! We are prayerfully with you!
