The following products were purchased for meals at the Holy Trinity Church in Dobropillya, Donetsk region: cereals, champignons, canned fish, salt and juicy apples. These are exactly the products that the cooks ordered, taking into account today’s needs for preparing tasty and nutritious meals.
A special request came from the community’s elderly parishioners, they wanted watermelons. Unfortunately, for many of them, these sweet fruits have become an unaffordable luxury because of their low pension payments. We could not ignore this wish, for even such a simple gift filled their hearts with joy and warmth. Life in the frontline villages is full of daily challenges, and that is why every sign of attention and care is very much appreciated there.
