Winter is about to begin, so we are in a hurry to provide firewood and coal for residents of frontline areas. The community of the Kazan’ska parish in Bilozerske, Donetsk Oblast, was the first to receive our help. We purchased the necessary amount of wood for them to heat their homes in winter. However, they also need coal to survive the winter.
We are anxiously expecting the onset of frost, possible power outages and lack of heating in our own homes, but imagine what lonely elderly people and people with disabilities living in frontline villages feel. They have nowhere to go. They feel themselves abandoned and needless. So, despite the war, they stay in their homes. Their native walls give them the strength to live and support each other.
Let’s take care of the unhappy ones!
Along with firewood and coal a caring heart warms well.
