The Christmas dream of many parishioners of the Church of the Kasperiv Icon of the Mother of God of the UOC in Kherson has come true – they are celebrating the Nativity of Christ in their native church on Ukrainian land, sending us heartfelt congratulations on the holiday and gratitude for support and help!
We will remind you that in December our volunteers visited Kherson and delivered food and basic necessities to the city. The Orthodox community of the Kasperiv Icon of the Mother of God UOC helps the people, who remained to live in the most dangerous place of Kherson, the Ostriv district. The community feeds the Kherson residents who remained in the city despite constant shelling.
Owing to the dedicated volunteers of the temple, the retired and disabled and, as we can see in the photo, even families with children were able to attend the festive meal!
On our part, we wish the people of Kherson a Merry Christmas! We wish you peace, harmony and God’s grace to all families!
